First question post didn't have much response maybe due to the summer holidays, though the few answers received were very interesting and we loved reading the contrasting opinions on the evolution of goth image.
Well, time for a new question!
How much do you think has the internet influenced the spread of goth culture? If much, in which way?
Do you think the internet has been a positive input for the culture or not?
What is your opinion on "internet goth idols" like Adora Batbrat?

I think there wouldn't be as many goths as there are now if it wasn't for the internet. I personally wouldn't even know what it is if I didn't find out on the web..!!
I live in Greece and as said goth subculture is not so popular..Personally, internet has helped me in finding better clothes and a lot of stuff about the divisions of the culture.Surely, i have to mention the importance of the blogs!
If not for the internet I would't be Goth!

I think the internet has helped the spread of Goth culture--I would have never been able to find the music if not for the internet.

Both. A positive impact by bringing new people (like me!) to the scene. I think a negative impact is blowing trends out of proportion *cough* pastel/hipster/nu Goth *cough*.
